Geometry, quantity, material and final condition are reviewed together to identify whether machining, additive manufacturing, molding or a combined route fits the application.
The quote should establish the manufacturing route, included secondary operations, timing and any required deliverables. Open questions are resolved before work begins.
The component moves through the agreed machining, printing or molding route, followed by EDM, grinding or other operations where the specification requires them.
Specified finishing is completed and agreed inspection, fit testing or trial assembly is performed according to the quoted scope.
Parts and agreed documentation are shipped. Feedback from the lab can then inform a repeat order, a revised design or a different process for the next development stage.
