CNC machining is the direct route when a prototype must represent the specified alloy, hold controlled mating features or arrive with a production-relevant surface. Lab Ready supports milled and turned orthopedic components from one-off prototypes through low-volume runs, with EDM, grinding and secondary finishing available when the drawing calls for them.

Multi-axis milling reduces repositioning on complex parts, while CNC and Swiss turning cover rotational features, shafts, pins, screws and fixation hardware.

Drawings are reviewed around fit and function so precision is concentrated on mating, bearing and alignment features instead of adding cost across non-critical geometry.

Can machining be combined with EDM or grinding?

Yes. Specialty operations can be coordinated for internal geometry, hardened materials, bearing surfaces and other critical features.

Is CNC machining available for one-off parts?

Yes. Lab Ready has no minimum order quantity and accepts single prototypes as well as low-volume runs.
