Created by engineers for engineers, Lab Ready was born from years of struggling to find a prototype supplier that satisfied the “three legs of the stool” (high quality, short lead time, low cost).
Charlie Barfield has worked in the orthopedic medical device industry since 2006. He began his career at Wright Medical in Memphis, TN where he worked on the manufacturing floor machining knee implants, in the Manufacturing Engineering department, and in the large joint engineering department where he rose to senior product development engineer within 4 years. Seeking to broaden his experience, he worked for two contract design firms. The last firm being MB Innovations in Memphis, TN where he is still heavily involved.
